At Catalyst-backed Pax8, Pamnani will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations and legal function, its M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and capital markets activities, and for maturing the company’s financial processes and controls to the levels of a public company.
Catalyst portfolio company Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace, raised $185 million in new equity capital from new investor SoftBank Vision Fund 2, increasing the company’s valuation to $1.7 billion. SoftBank Vision Fund led the funding series with additional contributions from existing investors Catalyst Investors, Sageview Capital, Blue Cloud Ventures, and Liberty Global Ventures.

The latest move involves Pax8 acquiring TVG, a Microsoft cloud services partner and software distributor in northeastern Europe. The TVG acquisition propels Pax8 into the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
