President, Furchtgott-Roth Economic Enterprises
Harold was the former commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission and is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, where he founded the Center on the Economics of the Internet. He is an adjunct professor of law at Brooklyn Law School and president of Furchtgott-Roth Economic Enterprises, an economics consulting firm. He co-founded a wireless company and has consulted to scores of businesses. He serves on various advisory committees. He is the author or coauthor of four books and over 50 professional papers and journal articles. His scores of op-eds and columns have been widely published.
Harold received a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and a B.S in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
