Entrepreneur in Residence, SeventySix Capital
Brian Selander serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at venture capital firm SeventySix Capital. He was previously Executive Vice President / Offensive Coordinator for Whistle Sports where he helped earn the company more than 270 million fans, followers, and subscribers following its 2014 launch. Prior to joining Whistle Sports in 2012, Mr. Selander served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Delaware Governor Jack Markell, the Chairman of the National Governor’s Association.
Previously, Mr. Selander served as National Director of Spend Management Solutions at CGI, a multi-billion dollar global IT and business process service provider, and Managing Director of Silver Oak Solutions, a management and supply chain consulting firm. His more than 20 years of industry experience also includes time as communications director for Senator Tom Carper, presidential campaign aide for Bill Bradley, print reporter for The Courier News (a Gannett Paper), and talk radio host for WDEL.
Mr. Selander graduated with a B.A. from Rutgers University, earned a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania where he taught for several years, and completed the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University, where he is on the board of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs.
