Galvanize Named Preferred Partner by Veterans Administration For New VET TEC Program

Catalyst-backed Galvanize, the leading provider of software engineering and data science immersive training, announces a collaboration with Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) to provide tech education to our nation’s veterans.

For the first time, veterans can enroll in remote learning as well as campus programs, using Veterans Administration (VA) benefits. Benefits will cover tuition and housing for veterans in the program.

Galvanize, a technology workforce educator, has named Harsh Patel as CEO. He is the former CEO of Hack Reactor. Galvanize’s backers include Catalyst Investors, ABS Capital Partners, University Ventures, New Markets Venture Partners and Colorado Impact Fund.

Galvanize to Acquire Leading Provider of Immersive Technology Education, Hack Reactor

Galvanize has secured a $32 million Series C financing led by growth equity firm Catalyst Investors with participation from New Markets Venture Partners and existing investors: ABS Capital Partners, University Ventures and the Colorado Impact Fund. Tyler Newton from Catalyst Investors will join the Galvanize board ofdirectors.
