Susan joined NYC-based growth equity firm Catalyst Investors in 2009 and has since become the firm’s first female partner. She is responsible for leading investments in software and business services companies. In addition, she serves on boards of portfolio companies, usually as one of the more active board members, with a particular focus on C-level team building and advising on strategic growth initiatives. Susan currently serves on the boards of Catalyst portfolio companies Datavail and LinkSquares (as a board observer) and previously served on the boards of Envoy Global, eSUB, Ascentis, MINDBODY (as a board observer), and WeddingWire (as a board observer).

Prior to joining Catalyst in 2009, Susan served as an Analyst at CIT Group where she was responsible for performing due diligence and credit analysis for various senior secured debt transactions within CIT’s Communications, Media & Entertainment Group. Susan graduated from Georgetown University, cum laude, with a BS in business administration.

Welcoming Rivet to the Portfolio

We are pleased to announce that we recently led a $20.5 million Series B in Rivet, a company on a mission to solve the broken healthcare billing process. Rivet provides a healthcare billing platform that promotes transparency around pricing and financial responsibility across the key stakeholders in healthcare – patients, providers and payers. The company is led by a trio of first-time co-founders in Ted Ferrin, Andrew Harding and Paul Draper who possess a keen ability to identify an acute problem in the market, develop and launch a product and achieve product-market fit in rapid succession.
