Datavail Acquires Atlanta-Based Oracle Consultancy



SkyBridge Global Brings Additional Cloud Expertise and Certifications

Broomfield, CO and Atlanta, GA (Nov. 2, 2021) – Datavail, a tech-enabled data management, applications and analytics solutions provider, announced today that it has acquired Skybridge Global, an Atlanta-based Oracle consultancy with expertise in Oracle ERP/CX cloud implementations and support across Oracle’s ERP, HCM, SCM and Oracle Cloud CX Suite business applications.

Skybridge has achieved Platinum and Excellence Cloud Implementer status in its Oracle cloud capabilities with more than 50 plus cloud certifications under implementations, solutioning and support. When combined with Datavail’s Oracle Suite technical capabilities as well as its Hyperion/EPM implementation and support expertise, the new entity provides comprehensive range of capabilities and experience.

Terms of the deal and revenues were not disclosed, however, with the acquisition, the Enterprise Applications Division of Datavail becomes its second largest business unit, just behind its core data management business unit.

Clients served by this division include:

  • Global quick service restaurant chain where Datavail has not only supported its EBS environment for more than 15 years, but also migrated its databases to both the Azure and AWS clouds. This enabled DevOps capabilities that, for instance, reduced by 90% percent the time to market to push menu and price changes to every restaurant worldwide.
  • A telecommunications company where Datavail is implementing the full suite of Oracle SaaS business applications – including Financials, HCM, EPM, SCM and CX Suite. This client will be one of the first worldwide to have over 40+ Oracle cloud business applications implemented.
  • Numerous clients where their Hyperion applications were upgraded, or migrated to Oracle’s cloud EPM platform.
  • An international transportation conglomerate where Datavail is their strategic partner for their 3-year financial systems transformation including implementation and management of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM systems.
  • A sports equipment manufacturer that needed a full roadmap on how and when to move applications to the cloud.

In addition, the combined entity has developed proprietary software that:

  • Includes a full automation library with proven extensions to Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) as well as other tools to enable better insights into operational performance of on-prem and cloud hosted solutions, resulting in less downtime, issue avoidance and lower support costs.
  • Helps large enterprises manage their Hyperion system with purpose-built application performance management software.
  • Helps payroll teams access a proven and repeatable process to balance and automate testing of Peoplesoft payroll and HCM, especially when updates for taxes, organizational changes or application upgrades are applied.

With the acquisition, the combined Enterprise Applications division will have consultants in four countries focused on Oracle services.
